Frequently Asked Questions About Onday Shoes

Oh yes. This isn’t your average insole, it’s a mini wellness retreat for your toes.
Our built-in toe spacer insole is an optional feature designed to gently realign your toes while you train, walk, run, and live your life. Think of it as passive foot therapy, minus the bulky gear and awkward looks. Unlike standard toe spacers that slip around or fall out mid-stride, ours are securely anchored right into the insole, no shifting, no drama.
Each insole comes with two soft, flexible toe separators per foot. Just slide your foot through the elastic band, pop the spacers between your toes, and slip into your ONDAYs. Zip up, and boom...you’re off, realigning with every step.
It’s the easiest way to support better foot posture, balance, and long-term comfort without even thinking about it. Wellness? Handled. Toes? Thriving.

Yes, you’ve got options. Every pair of ONDAYs comes with two insoles: our signature patented toe spacer insole for optimal alignment and foot activation, and a standard insole for a more traditional fit. You can also wear them without any insole at all for a super close-to-barefoot experience.
While the shoes still offer benefits like a wide toe box and flexible sole on their own, the toe spacer insole is what really unlocks the magic by encouraging natural toe splay, balance, and posture. That said, your feet, your rules. Whether you’re going full wellness mode or just easing in, ONDAYs are built to support your flow.

At ONDAY we believe your feet were designed perfectly from day one. Our shoes give your feet the freedom they've been dreaming of!
Think: Stronger toes, better posture, improved balance, and shoes that actually let your feet move the way nature intended.
With our patented toe spacer insole and flexible soles, you're basically giving your feet a yoga retreat! 🙌
-
Slow and steady wins the (foot health) race! 🐢
Your feet might be used to tight, squishy, supportive shoes, so ease into it:
- Start with 15-30 minutes a day.
- Mix in some foot-strengthening moves (like toe yoga!).
- Gradually increase wear time as your feet adjust.
Listen to your body, if it says "chill," take a break.
-
Definitely! ONDAY's are up for walks, runs, gym sessions, Crossfit, HYROX, and even dance-offs 💃
Just give your body time to adjust. Remember, your feet have been trapped in foot prisons and they and the supporting musculature may be weakened.
Once you're used to the natural movement, you'll love the freedom and feel. It's like going barefoot with superpowers.
-
Absolutely. While each of us is uniquely shaped, human toes tend to follow a remarkably consistent pattern. So rather than worrying about the exact placement of the spacers, just focus on choosing the right shoe size from our sizing chart. Our built-in toe spacers are thoughtfully positioned to support healthy toe alignment for nearly all feet.
If for whatever reason they don't fit, we offer free and easy returns! -
It’s easy-peasy. Measure your foot from heel to big toe and check our sizing chart.
ONDAYs fit true to size, but if you're between sizes, go up for that roomy toe-wiggle freedom.

Insole Thickness: 5mm of cushioned support that molds to your foot, enhancing comfort without bulk.
Outsole Thickness: 4mm of durable grip designed to keep you grounded while staying light and flexible.
Just enough to protect while keeping you grounded. It’s like walking barefoot, only better.
-
Treat them like your favorite outfit:
- Hand wash gently with mild soap + cool water.
- Air dry (no hot dryers or sunbathing! ☀️).
- Pull out the insoles every once in a while to keep them fresh.
Simple, clean, and low-maintenance—just how we like it.
-
That depends!
If you're using our toe spacer insole, and want a little extra coziness 🧦 then toe socks that have individual pockets for each toe are the way to go! We don't sell them yet but you can find them easily online.
If you aren't using our toe spacer insole, you're more than welcome to wear any kind of sock you like! -
At ONDAY, we believe your feet were built right on day one—strong, stable, and fully capable of supporting you without external crutches. Unfortunately, modern shoes may have damaged and weakened your feet. Our shoes are designed to help restore that natural strength by encouraging healthy foot function, balance, and alignment from the ground up.
Using orthotics or insoles can sometimes interfere with this process. Instead of compensating for weak muscles or altered posture, ONDAY shoes aim to retrain and reactivate your feet so they can support themselves again, just like they were originally designed to.
That said, if you're currently transitioning out of orthotics or dealing with a medical condition, consult with your healthcare provider. Everyone's feet are on a different journey, and our goal is to meet you where you are while helping you move toward stronger, more self-reliant feet.
